Any Business willing to start Import or Export Business Must have IEC code. IEC is 10 digit unique code issued by Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
IEC Registration is mandatory for anyone starting willing to expand their business by Import and export. The purpose of the IEC License Certificate is to regulate and manage the foreign trade operations in India. Business also gets benefited by the government schemes if registered under IEC. Reserve Bank of India has made it compulsory for all the traders to provide their Import Export Code during any payment transfer.

Documents Required For Registration
- PAN Card of shareholders and Directors A valid passport is a must for foreign nationals. .
- Identity Proof of Shareholders and Directors, such as aadhar card and Voter ID/ Passport/ Driving License.
- Certificate of Partnership Deed/Incorporation
- Bank Statement Bank account statement or cancelled Cheque Leaf of the company or applicant
- Passport size photograph of Shareholders and Directors of updated.
- Business Address Proofs such as latest Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill of the registered office address
- NOC or No Objection Certificate to be obtained from the owner(s) of registered office
- Rent Agreement is needed if the registered office is a rented place.
