Trade License is a license that allows business person to commence a particular trade or business in a particular area/location. Trade License ensures that the trade or business was performed by complying with all the safety provisions as Dictated out by State Municipal Corporation. It safeguards the residents from health hazards. Still, the license does not permit the business owner to perform any business activities that fall outside the ambit of the license. And also , license does not pass on any type of property ownership to the license holder.

Categories of Trade License
Industries license (Small, medium and large scale manufacturing factories)
Shop license (Dangerous and offensive trades like a sale of firewood, cracker manufacturer, candle manufacturer, barber shop , laundry (dhobi) shop etc).
Food establishment license (Restaurants, hotels, food stall, canteen, the sale of meat & vegetables, bakeries etc)
Documents Required For Registration
- Address proof of the business such as latest Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill of the registered office address
- Applicant's identity proofsuch as aadhar card .
- PAN of the individual in case of proprietorship, else PAN of the firm of company
- Memorandum of Association in case of Companies
- Incorporation certification in case of Companies
- NOC or No Objection Certificate NOC issued by the nearby property owners
- property tax receipt in case the premises are owned or Rent Agreement is needed if the registered office is a rented place.
- Certified layout plan of the office
